We sat down with one of our artists, TNGKBmarlon, and asked them a few questions!
Q: We've been lucky enough to work with artists from all over the Globe. Where are you from?
A: I'm from the Philippines
Q: You've done a few cards for us now. I love all of them, but if you had to pick, what is the favorite [SYNSOULS] card you've illustrated so far?
A: The promotional card, 'Until the last breath'.
Q: How long have you been drawing for?
A: I started drawing drawing stickman figures at the age of 5 and the rest is history.
Q: What card games have you played in the past? Do you have a favorite? A: Yu-Gi-Oh, Hearthstone, Dungeon Mayhem, and Inscription. I like inscription the most.
Q: Do you have any influences when drawing?
A: Influences? Anime and manga. Lots of them.
Q: Do you have a favorite artist? A: Oh! Great. He is the reason why I get into anime and manga. Then Lam, I was very inspired with his illustrations.
Q: [SYNSOULS] has a lot to do with sound and music. Do you have a favorite genre?
A: I listen to a lot of different genres, but if I have to pick one it would be J-Rock.
Q: Do you listen to J-Rock or other music while drawing? Any favorites?
A: Yes I do. Not favorites but most of the times I listen to jazz music, it soothes my mind and helps me focus more while drawing. Q: Thanks so much for your time! Where can we find more of your work?
